What a nice change from our usual big hotel experience! We travel quite a bit and I was initially reluctant, having become accustomed to room service and other hotel amenities, but am so glad we gave The Driftwood a try! Our room had been recently renovated–very tastefully done–definitely South Florida! The property was built ages ago, but it is well maintained. The staff is very friendly– the housekeepers were great! Very nice pool–lots to do for guests–we preferred the beach just across the street. Loved the fact that there were beach lounge chairs for our use at no charge! We have paid $15 a day before! Several decent restaurant choices are in walking distance–as well as a pharmacy and a grocery store. And the laundry facilities came in very handy! All in all, our experience at The Driftwood most pleasant–we will definitely be returning!

My husband and I stayed at Driftwood April 6 to 13th and everything was perfect. We did a timeshare trade through Rci. It’s location is so convenient. Our unit had been redone and was very attractive. It was immaculate when we arrived and we loved the maid service. The pool is clean and everyone is so friendly. Everything you need is within walking distance..shops, restaurants, and the beach. There is a Publix just a short drive away. Loved the beach access and the fact that 2 kinds of chairs are provided. There are also tiki huts which we stood under during a brief shower one day. I was sad to leave!

A wonderful week spent with family and very good friends every November for the past 30 years. Everyone is friendly and the resort is run by a very competent staff. We look forward to our vacation every year and numerous friends from the Buffalo and Chicago Areas have bought weeks to help us celebrate! We miss those who did not make it this year. Looking forward to next year. Thanks to the Driftwood Staff.
